The Queen Sirikit National Convention Center is a convention center that hosts a variety of events in Bangkok.

From website: The Queen Sirikit National Convention Center was officially opened by Their Majesties King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit on 29 August 1991. The Center is named after Queen Sirikit in honor of Her Majesty’s 60th birthday, which fell on August 1992 and marked the completion of an auspicious fifth twelve-year cycle.

Thailand’s first purpose-built convention center opened its doors for its inaugural event from 1-15 October 1991, when 10,000 of the world’s most influential bankers and financiers from 154 countries attended the 46th World Bank/International Monetary Fund’s Annual Meetings. It was a momentous success and heralded QSNCC’s important role in spurring the tremendous growth in meetings, conventions and exhibitions held in Thailand.

Over the past two decades, QSNCC has hosted numerous prestigious gatherings on national, regional and global levels, earning a world-wide reputation as a well-run and well managed national convention center.
