Acclaimed as one of the three leading classical ballet companies in Germany, State Ballet of Karlsruhe brings to Bangkok: The Nutcracker - A Christmas Carol,  a magnificent work that brings together 50 dancers from 13 different nations. Since its inception in 2003, the company has been under the artistic direction of the world-famous, former prima ballerina of the Stuttgart Ballet Birgit Keil, and Professor Vladimir Klos, former principal dancer of the Stuttgart Ballet. More than half of today’s ensemble members have been trained by these two legends at the Academy of Dance in Mannheim, Germany.

This is the story of Clara, the Nutcracker and adventures in the toy world and also the story of the rich miser Scrooge who is completely unmoved by the poverty of others. With its premiere in Bonn in 1988, in The Nutcracker - A Christmas Carol  Vámos has created together with stage designer Michael Scott a charming family ballet.
