Stanislavsky Ballet, the ballet company of the Moscow State Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre – is one of  Russia’s leading and most artistically successful ballet companies. In Bangkok, the company will present Vladimir Burmeister’s version of Swan Lake, considered by both critics and other  major ballet companies of the world to be an ‘outstanding performance’. This ballet, considered a trademark performance of the  Stanislavsky Ballet, is highly appreciated for its dramatic verity, lightness and lyricism. Leading the orchestra from Moscow in a masterful rendition of Tchaikovsky’s music is conductor Felix Korobov. The company consisting of 90 dancers is travelling with 11 gold medallists at international ballet competitions. In 2011, Igor Zelensky, the People’s Artist of Russia, took the lead as the company’s Artistic Director. Prior to this he was a leading dancer at the Mariinsky Theatre. The company has performed to enthusiastic reception in Japan, France, Hungary, Portugal, Yugoslavia, Latin America, Greece, Italy and Finland among several other countries.
