Women in Tech

Launchpad -

Ended 12 May 2016

This Women IN Tech event will focus on the Southeast Asia tech scene. Together with our highly experienced panel of women working in the industry, we will be discussing how companies are using technology to connect people, create communities and facilitate business.

We will hear the panelist’s views on their strategies for using technology to connect with their market audience and we will ask them, is the tech scene in Southeast Asia truly innovative or are we simply copying an already existing model and adapting it to new markets?

What is the role of social media in Southeast Asia, and is it imperative for business? What are some new ways companies across this region are using technology? What do you think the future holds for tech in Southeast Asia, where are we headed?

These questions and more will be discussed by our panel of professionals in a engaging and thought provoking panel conversation. Joining us for this discussion will be Emma Harris of GuavaPass, Sarah Huang of Burda International and Artima (Kimmy) Suraphongchai of iflix. More information about our panelists is below.

Aimed at providing the space for women to share experience and connect with other professionals, this event is open to anyone currently working in tech or interested in the field.

Ticket includes a welcome drink and limited snacks and due to limited capacity we recommend booking fast as we expect this event to sell out.
