Hope Fair - 9th Edition
Rembrandt Hotel & Towers -
The 9th Hope Fair will be held on Thursday September 29th,
@ The Rembrandt Hotel, Sukhumvit soi 20 or soi 18.
The Hope Fair was created in 2014 by the need of the expat community in Bangkok for a free event to gather in a friendly way, to meet and exchange good ideas, unique products and services by artisans and entrepreneurs, and to raise money for the children living in the slums of Bangkok.

The Hope Fair is a unique occasion to discover a trendy selection of more than 75 international and local artisans and entrepreneurs with a variety of products to please everyone.
The Hope Fair is well known in Bangkok after 8 very successful events, and it happens only 5 times a year: January, March, May, September and November.
There are fashion designers with clothes, bags, shoes and accessories, gourmet chefs with homemade delicacies, organic products, natural sweets, children stores with costumes, games, puzzles, coloring books, personalized items, books, clothes, homeware stalls with soaps, decorations, candles, frames & boxes, and vendors for the mind and body with self improvement books, sports accessories, aromatherapy oils, etc...
The Hope Fair has, from the beginning, been a social start-up organization based on social responsibility by regrouping small entrepreneurs, and we will continue to do so!
The Hope Fair is also a special way to support charities. Each vendor makes a donation to the Mercy Centre, and customers are invited to do the same. The Mercy Centre is a shelter for street kids with five orphanages, a hospice, a home for mothers and children with HIV/AIDS, a 400-student kindergarten, a community meeting place, and a serene haven in the slums with small gardens and playgrounds.
Other charities from all over Thailand are invited and participating such as Sop Moei Arts, Fatima Center, Les Art'Isan Thailand, Isan Weaving Bangkok, and many more. They offer a variety of quality products that are made by underprivileged groups.
The Hope Fair is also an opportunity to clean out your closets and bring to the event your donation of Kid's clothes, toys, shoes, household products, as well as clothes for adults or any other stuff which could help the children in the orphanage and adults in the Klong Toey community.
The Rembrandt Hotel is located in Sukhumvit Soi 18.
The hotel can also be accessed from Soi 20.
Close to BTS and MRT stations Asoke.
The Hope Fair is held in the spacious and elegant 660 square meter ball room, on the 2nd floor.
Entrance is Free.
The 9th Hope Fair will be held on
THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 29TH, from 9.00AM to 3.00PM,
and once again presenting popular local and imported merchandise.
[SPECIAL 9th Fair – SEPTEMBER 2016]
The Hope Fair, in collaboration with the Mercy Centre, has selected a special project for this September event. All the funds raised during this fair will be used to change the dangerous glass windows at an elementary school that regularly fall out and make the place unsafe for the students. The windows below will be changed to sliding ones. Of course, the Hope Fair will update everyone of the total amount raised, and how many windows were replaced. Please follow the progress on our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/hopefairbangkok/ .
