A legendary teacher, Simon Borg -Olivier was introduced to Yoga at an early age. He has studied directly with B.K.S lyengar, K. Pattabhi Jois,T.K.V Desikachar, Shandor Remete and Master Zhen Hua Yang, a teacher of remarkable physical skill and deep knowledge from Tibet as well the Shaolin and WuDang temples in China. Simon is known for his unparalleled knowledge and control of the body. He is a registered physiotherapist, and demonstrates advanced yoga asana and teaches Applied Anatomy and Physiology of Yoga at major international events and teacher training.

Build your power for arm balancing, back bending, and going upside down. Workshop includes teachings on the health of your neck, upper back, heart and lungs.

BREATHING

Realize your inner power and your abilities to really relax and get into the flow. With ongoing practice of these techniques, you will havethe abilities to regulate your body temperature, energy levels as well as your dependence on food and sleep!

MEDITATION

2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
How to develop the meditative state in movement and stillness in your yoga practice and exercise. In this session Simon will show you techniques that can bring you to a very focused mindful state that can then progress to a blissful ‘mindless’ yet conscious state called the ’empty mind. Many of these techniques draw on an understanding of the nervous system, and the use of reflexes. You will be given tools that can help to achieve stillness in breath and mind both during static postures as well as in movement.
