ABOUT THE CLUB

The Friese-Greene Club is a small, informal members' club on a quiet soi in Bangkok's Sukhumvit area.  It's name comes from the British pioneer of motion pictures, William Friese-Greene.  The club was created to celebrate the film industry and bring together notable film-makers, students, advocates, enthusiasts, and anyone that likes great movies!  The club has nightly screenings of often rare and older films, also concentrating on themes that are institutional to the development of the film industry.  The three-floor club features a restuarant/bar, private sofas, and a real 9-seat cinema.  You're guaranteed to see something new at the club, and it is truly one of Bangkok's hidden gems.
