Synopsis: When a gang terrorizes 1930s Oss - a city in the south ofHolland - military police is sent in from the north. As they discover sex crimes and fraud even among the local clerks and prominent city folk, the conflict escalates into one between the Catholic south and Protestant north,finally leading to the fall of Holland's last prewar government.
