Cinema from the Portuguese-speaking world
Recognised with awards at international festivals around the world, the film spoken in Portuguese is still unknown to the public. This vibrant language community of 240 million inhabitants promotes 80 film festivals every year, with films mainly consumed within each country. The Lusophone Film Fest is a show of film production diversity in eight Portuguese-speaking countries on 4 continents. Started in Nairobi (Kenya) in 2014, which were designed documentaries, animations, short films and feature films in 8 monthly sessions with several films from different countries , in 2015 the Lusophone Film Fest comes to global network of centres around the world , organised by local agents.

Here in Bangkok, Lusophone Film Festival collaborated with Speedy Grandma. Seventeen movies/animations will be shown once a month until February 2016. On June 6, 2015, we will have a casual opening at Speedy Grandma, and a film screening.
