Birmingham's Flatpack Film Festival in Bangkok!

For two days only "the UK's most creatively curated film festival" (The Independent) comes to Bangkok. In partnership with Birmingham City University, and Silpakorn University International College, Flatpack takes over Whiteline with a vertiable feast of film, performance, and music, with workshops and talks thrown in for good measure.

WEDNESDAY 8 MARCH
12-5pm - The Sound of Drawing 
Drawing influenced by sound. Pick up a pencil and join in!

2:30-4pm - Duck Unit
Talk by Bangkok-based Duck Unit. For more info on their work, go to duckunit.tv

5-5:45pm - Nathan Tromans: The Trail of Thomas Love
Live musical performance with visuals.

6-7pm - Networking
A chance to meet and have a drink with like-minded folk.

7-8:30pm - The Sad and Beautiful World of Sparklehorse
Music documentary about Sparklehorse

9-10pm - Twist + Gabriel
DJs and visuals in the bar

THURSDAY 9 MARCH
11:30am-12:45pm - Lost in Sound
An eclectic programme of shorts all with a musical theme

1:30-3pm - Found: Reappropriation, Compilation, Remix
Discussion and shorts screening on the them of 'found'

3:30 - 5pm - Ravi Deepres: Dance Cinematic
Talk by award-winning filmmaker Ravi Deepres and screening of screendance shorts

5:30-6:30pm - SUIC Student Showcase
A selection of the best short films from current students at Silpakron University International College

6:45-8pm - Best of Flatpack
Programme of some of the best shorts which have screened at the festival over the last few years

8:30-9:15pm - Tito Band
Live band

9:30-10:30pm - Edouard
Live music by celebrated composer Edouard Papazian

All events over the two days are free to attend with no booking required. Just turn up, grab a drink, and sit back and enjoy.
