Fireworks from the Heart (2010)

The Sudo family moves to Katakai for the recuperation of Hana. She is released from the hospital on the annual Katakai fireworks festival. Then she finds out that her Taro, her brother, has become a social recluse. She drags him to the Young Group Office who is enthusiastically planning for the following year’s firework display. Unfortunately, they refuse to let him join the group. However, Hana still keeps trying to get Taro more involved in the community. He soon makes it. Relationship among family members has become better. Also, he is eventually accepted by the Young Adult group. Shortly thereafter, Hana’s sickness is getting worse and worse. Taro tries his best to arrange his own firework display for her.
