"Sometimes your help can change thier world forever."

Orphaned by the brutal civil war in Sudan that began in 1983, these young victims traveled as many as a thousand miles on foot in search of safety before being brought to America. Apparently, to orient themselves with the new circumstance is as tough as to forget their painful memories.

THE GOOD LIE is directed by Philippe Falardeau, starring Oscar Winner Reese Witherspoon alongside Sudanese actors Arnold Oceng, Ger Duany, Emmanuel Jal, and newcomer Nyakuoth Weil.

Free ticket! The movie will be screened 5pm on 24 June 2016 at Bangkok Art & Culture Centre's 5th Floor Auditorium (Running time 100 minutes, English with Thai subtitle.)

There'll be refugee photos exhibition as well as a talk with Thapanee Ietsrichai (Amnesty International Thailand Media Awards Winner), Adisorn Kerdmongkol (Asylum Access Thailand) and Suthep Kritsanawarin (Documentary Photographer and Writer on Rohingya)
