Meyer Conducts Bartok
Prince Mahidol Hall -
Bartók’s Concerto for Orchestra, which as the title suggests treats single orchestral instruments in a soloistic and virtuosic manner, is full of life despite the tumultuous moments the composer was experiencing at the time. American conductor Jeffery Meyer leads TPO in this virtuosic showpiece. The program also features TPO co-principal horn Suparchai Sorathorn performing Strauss’ Concerto No. 1, and Benjamin Britten’s Peter Grimes: Four Sea Interludes.
