Art - Super Nature
This is the opening weekend for a multi-discipline group exhibition by 5 Thai and international artists, which concentrates on a flower and femininity theme.  The exhibition features Kawita Vatanajyankur (Thai / video), Ek Thongprasert (Thai / fashion & jewelry), Sun Yong Min (Korean / acrylic), Catherine Wilkening (French / sculpture), and Artpilo (French brand / photography prints on pillows).  The exhibition runs daily until January 24th.

Dining - Bounenkai Parties
Traditional year-end (Bounenkai) celebrations begin at Yamazato restaurant in The Okura Prestige Bangkok on 11 December.  Master Chef Shigeru Hagiwara prepares a special set sinner suitable for friends, family or business associates.  The menu features chicken, squid, sashimi, tempura, soups, and assorted desserts.

Festival - Wonderfruit 2015
If all of your friends are out of town this weekend, it’s probably because they are down in Pattaya at Wonderfruit.  The 4-day festival highlights immersive arts, music, food, nature, and health.  There are a variety of workshops and headline music acts that have been announced.  This is probably the most highly anticipated festival of the year in Thailand.

Shopping - Container Market
Saturday and Sunday only this week, check out the container market hosted by The Bloc across the river.  The indie market will feature cute home decor, handmade products, and other artsy handicrafts.  To get there, you’ll have to take the BTS to Bang Wa, then continue north on Rachapruek Rd. in a taxi North about 3-4km.

Nightlife - TMSF + Supergoods Live
TMSF, which stands for Thomas Magical Sound of Fund, is an 8-piece band heavy on the brass.  Recently arriving to Bangkok, they are taking over SoulBar this Friday night.  Step back into the era of funk and soul to experience why SoulBar is one of the hottest bars on Charoen Krung.  Get there early because they always fill up!

The Democrazy Theatre Studio presents the closing weekend of their interactive performance, which in English means “This is not political”!  The performance was conceived and directed by Jaa Phantachat with script by Pattareeya Puapongsakorn.  The last shows are Friday and Sunday in Thai, and Saturday in English.

Concert - Concert in the Park
The Bangkok Symphony Orchestra is organizing their free annual Concert in the Park series at Lumphini again this year.  With three concerts per month from December through February, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to enjoy.  This Sunday will be their Christmas themed show.

Nightlife - 23 Unplugged #5 Black Cat Blues
Craft 23 hosts an acoustic session this Sunday, and honestly we haven’t seen a whole lot else going on, so why not?  The themes will be blues, rock, pop, and maybe some audience calls?  Craft has one of the best selections of craft beers in the city, and the friendly outdoor atmosphere of Soi 23 is a great place to spend a Sunday evening.  Expect a food truck or two.
