"Was Here"
Photo Exhibition by Kimmo Kauko, 2-9 April
Opening Night: Sunday, April 2, 6pm to 11pm at Jam
The exhibition will feature images by photographer Kimmo Kauko, taken at Jam during the past two years. What started as a one-off photo shoot became a passion which led Kauko to regularly return and to explore the subconscious connection between himself, the environment, and his models. All pictures were taken at Jam and the pictures are shown at the exact spot they were taken.
The product of these many hours of photography has led to a unique collection of work, which Jam is proud to have played a part in, and delighted to host this special exhibition.
Kimmo's work is provocative and fresh, but often harkens back to a mysterious past where sensuality exists in the shadows. He hints at hidden narratives, often offering vignettes of eroticism, beauty and mystery. Both visually, sonically and emotionally, ____was here will take you on a profound and cinematic journey.
