Ultim. A multi-tribute to concrete art
Alliance Francaise Bangkok -
Contemporary engraving collection featuring the work of 13 renowned artists.
“Nothing less, nothing more” could serve as the watchword for those known as concrete artists. The “concrete art” movement has led to minimalist works that combine artistic expression with rationality, science and mathematics. Exhibited in Bangkok for the first time, the ULTIM. collection includes more than 50 limited-edition, signed engravings created in Swiss serigraph studios. Eric Tilbury has gathered the works of 13 contemporary artists from Europe and other parts of the world, which will be put on sale. He will give a talk on concrete art’s history and principles in introduction to the exhibition opening.
