For his first solo at the Toot Yung Gallery, acclaimed Thai artist Montri Toemsombat chooses to explore a new medium: painting. He uses bright colored fabrics from Kanchanaburi as the canvas, and paints with rice, rubber, crushed vegetables and earth.
