Megumi Ukisu (JP) Solo exhibition "Still Motion, Other Voices"

A faded memory emerges from time to time yet quick to disappear.

This time, pastels are chosen as a new attempt. A hand rubbing colors gently in layers helped to reach to the deepest level of recollection. 

A spatial manifestation of the linear memories linked to one another has changed into the subtle movement of still motion images.
On the other hand, the fusion colors of lithograph made over the years resound other voices faintly heard or seen.

The commonality of the two modes of expression will softly infiltrate into a person's mind, making it a new memory.
