Public programs will include publication launches, as well as a lecture in English by Simon Soon (based in Kuala Lumpur) on the art historian Ananda Coomaraswamy, and a lecture in Thai by ThasnaiSethaseree (based in Chiang Mai) on diasporic communities in the United States.

The artists' talks will conclude with the launch of Southeast of Now: Directions in Contemporary and Modern Art, a new scholarly journal published in print and online by National University of Singapore Press. The journal will be launched by Thanavi Chotpradit, an art historian who lectures at Silpakorn University.
