Nipon Intarit: Black Moon
bridge -
Bridge Art Space presents
a political landscape photo exhibition: "Black Moon"
by Nipon Intarit
Exhibition from 8 - 30 April 2017
Nipon's work explores sociological, societal and ideological issues through photography and conceptual art. In Black Moon, he continues this subtextual narrative, examining the role of individuals and their geographical contexts in late stage capitalism. In deconstructing and reconstructing, and duplicating duplicates, the work seeks to obfuscate and play with its own concept and installation.
Artist Statement:
Political landscape photo exhibition: "Black Moon"
Capitalism has self-reinvented several times under different forms of government and in different eras due to an alienation towards the mode of product. Self-reinvention is subconscious from Fordism to Semiotics production without resistant. From concrete oppression to abstract freedom (under the capital consciousness),
from irresponsibly harvesting to harvesting controlled by morale (which also add righteousness with the capital), whereby the capital center is moving into us, resulting in there being no boundaries for capitalism (the outside and inside have become the same territory).
Humans are not alienated or apart from history but it is the capital that works through the body and unconscious mind that works from the inside. The photographer leads us to explore our understanding.
