Lifelines
Koi Art Gallery -
Koi Art Gallery is pleased to present “Lifelines,” a solo exhibition to be held from July 8 – August 31, 2016. This exhibition showcases the latest artworks by Thai artist Kamol Tamseewan, who examines silent moments of people hidden by emotions through fragmented brushstrokes.
In his latest exhibition, Thai artist Kamol Tamseewan delves into translating people’s emotions, actions and everyday interactions which he witnesses into brush strokes and their most impactful moments.
Kamol’s abstract portraits emphasize a single moment where they emanate their strongest sentiment. He examines further the lines that truly display the experiences that people have gone through – ones that show on their face and not just the palms.
The expression of each individual are showcased on their face & body language, sometimes hidden in the details. Masked with a smile, revealed by rapid breathing, or left unsaid with a distracted gaze – the fragmented lines reveal the genuine nature of a person.
With every face that the artist explored from his home and in the charming town of Chiang Mai, the true self is exposed with ‘Lifelines’.
Interested public are invited to “Lifelines” Exhibition from July 8 – August 31, 2016 (11.00 a.m. – 7.00 p.m.) at Koi Art Gallery, 254 Sukhumvit 31 Road (Soi Sawaddee), Klongton North Wattana, Bangkok, Tel. 02 662 3218.
