===Artist statements===

As a father of three boys born and raised in Thailand, I'm sensitive to Thai culture, Buddhism and the remarkable reign of his majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

His majesty's death in October had a crushing effect on me personally. I can only imagine the sense of loss all Thais must share.

His majesty's love for his people, his love for art and culture, has inspired me as an artist to show my respect with a series of portraits of the King.

It's my hope these paintings will serve as an inspiration to all in the Kingdom of Thailand who loved their King as well.

This series of my abstract paintings inspired by surrounding environment outside Bangkok area after I set up studio in suburb. In the past three years, I have been traveling and exhibiting abroad. I always interested in diverse cultures and social issues.

This set of my work were created from what I have felt in the past year. 2 of my latest paintings that I paint to homage the King Rama 9 were inspired by music that he composed. My paintings were created in the sense of harmony, energy and expression as a result.
