Starting in 2012, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre together with Han Nefkens Foundation has worked with renown personnels in Asian art circle to get one artist who will make the most of one's residency in Bangkok and to produce artworks which represent artist-self and surroundings. Tao Zhou, Chinese artist has been unanimously chosen.

Tao Zhou's works have always been involved with himself together with the environment he is in, touching subjects that interest the artist. After Tao was selected, he came to Bangkok for survey the area of Bangkok, Samutsakhon, and Chanthaburi in March 2013 and then again August 2013 - January 2014 for his residency. 

Green Sun is comprised of video, photos, paintings, and mural painting presenting his concern together what the artist has been involving during his visits to Bangkok and between.

Exhibition is held from 6 - 29 June 2014, 10.00 - 21.00 hrs.
At Studio, 4th floor, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre 
Opening reception on Thursday 5th June 2014, 14.00 hrs.
Artist's talk on Saturday 7th June 2014, 14.00 - 16.00 hrs.
