A photographic exhibition from February 19 – March 3 at the Bangkok Arts and Culture Center focuses on a world class ecosystem just a short reach from Bangkok. Dawna Tenasserim: Hidden Forests of Asia will take viewers through sweeping panoramas of cloud crested mountain ranges, diverse and ancient human communities, iconic and mysterious wildlife and finally to a reflection on some of the threats to this dynamic and complex ecosystem. Photography ranges from those of commissioned professionals to the work of key partners in the landscape. Several of the landscape photographs were taken from airborne paramotors to gain a birds-eye view of the landscape, while some of the photographs of species such as tigers, leopards and elephants employed camera traps.
