MEET DANIEL FROST

http://danielfrost.co.uk/

Daniel Frost is an artist living and working in London. Born in Staffordshire in 1984, he moved to London to study at the Royal College of Art, (graduating with a Masters in 2010).

Through simplified imagery, both in composition and colour, his work draws inspiration from the strangeness of everyday life which he uses to create imaginary worlds and characters.

Craftsmanship is at the heart of his work, using traditional materials for example: watercolour paint, paper collage and pencil crayons. Daniel's work creates a blend of modern imagery with the delicate qualities of traditional mediums. His practice ranges from 2D image-making to 3D objects, which are all coherent with his imagination and craftsmanship.

A winner of the Oberon award for his illustrated version of Gulliver’s Travels, Daniel has exhibited both in London, Copenhagen, Antwerp and Los Angeles and has worked for a list of clients, including Nike, The New York Times and Norse Projects.
