Are You Using Your Voice?

We all have been granted the rights to express ourselves, articulate our opinions, and be an advocate for what we believe in. Communicating our emotions, vulnerabilities, and fears create uncomfortable feelings but they are necessary.

“Are You Using Your Voice?” is a thought provoking public art exhibition created to raise questions, notions, perspectives, opinions, and ideas. It’s also an opportunity to build community through artistic expression and from life experiences.

Our voice is the most powerful tool we posses. Deciding to speak up, tell our truth, and use our stories to inspire others is our primary responsibility to humanity. Our words must lead us to unchartered paths. If someone decides to remain silent, a piece of the overall narrative is missing. If that same person makes a conscious effort to speak up, the fabric that connects humanity gains power. We can’t afford to remain silent. The threads that connect the unified body of individuals around the globe is strengthened by the voice of one. Together we amplify everyone’s voice.

Reggie Black is an artist and inspirational engineer using “life” as the curator of his work. Born and raised in Washington, DC USA currently residing in Bangkok, he is on a quest to transform non-traditional spaces and create artistic experiences through community, public art and human interaction. He is known for his daily work with his “Sticky Inspiration” project primarily distributed through Instagram, and also his nomadic documentary photography.

“Are You Using Your Voice?” is his first international exhibition, a follow up to his first art installation the “Remove the Fear Creative Experience” where a three level traditional home was redesigned into an art exhibition. His goal is to curate non-traditional artistic experiences worldwide, travel, while continuing to spread his "Sticky Inspiration" platform around the world, inspiring others to pursue their dreams one person at a time.
