From tigers and dragons to frogs and rats, auspicious animals have been an important part of Asian culture for thousands of years. They can be found everywhere, in temples, profane households, in public spaces… At Golden Tortoise we will display a collection of these highly revered beasts from all over the continent, from Tibet to Japan, and from all ages, from the Neolithic Era to the 19th century.

The exhibits include furniture, fabrics, wood carvings, bronze and stone objects. The exhibition called “AAA” for Asian Auspicious Animals will be held at GOLDEN TORTOISE gallery, from Friday September 4th to Sunday September 20th.
