In a continuity of words, light and self-referential objects, 98.5% of this light has been blocked enters the room to speak to a socio-geographic and temporal locality; it considers a context that may (not?) be as distinct as claimed. The public becomes private. The formerly (un?)professed is unheard. The only statements are non-statements. Space becomes (negative). According to a deep intention informing the function of mechanics, most of the light is blocked and power is kept locked within, unseen, inaccessible.
Liam Morgan (b.1982, Saint John, Canada) is an artist and cinematographer. His practice is made up of work in the media of installation, lighting, photography and video. He lives and works in Bangkok, Thailand.
