Live Loop Asia brings to the event 11 local musicians and 4 visiting international musicians who will share their take on live looping music. Live looping music is created using live looping concepts, methods and technology – equipment that records and plays back sound, to which other sounds can be added, overlaid, deleted, filtered and mixed to form an improvisational work on the spot and using no pre-recorded material. The technique will be applied across all genres. Performances will feature original music and unique live-loop interpretations of the King’s songs.
