Hailing from Mozambique, Halima has been an expat in Bangkok for 16 years. She has a great passion for fermenting everything, from making sauerkraut & kimchi to kefir and kombucha. She is also an avid sourdough baker.
Saloni is a local greenie who runs Bangkok Greenie & The Urban Green Scene, green living guides for Bangkok. She is passionate about organic food and sustainability. She enjoys using local seasonal ingredients in her ferments.
Halima and Saloni started off fermenting for fun and realised that fermented beverages and food can truly change your life. Their grains and scobys are grown with love, care and time. Their mission is to make these miracle grains and scobys available and affordable to all families.

The class will end with a tasting of different flavoured Kefir
