An old couple has a child with a body of a frog who was able to speak like a human and was loved by all for her good heart and polite manner. Some years later, her mother died and her father married a widow with two ugly daughters who were jealous of the little frog’s popularity with the neighbors. One day a young prince announced that he would perform a hair-washing ceremony and marry the woman who has the jasmine that fall from his hair. The flowers fell right to the little frog and the prince kept his word. The little frog became the princess.

One day, the king decided to abdicate and pass the throne to one of his four sons who could successfully perform all given tasks. With help from the little frog, our young prince managed to perform every task. For the last task, the king asked his sons to bring him the most beautiful woman.
